Learn how to make documentaries of under 5 minutes to be uploaded to FourDocs, Channel 4’s broadband documentary channel, meaning you’ll be in with the chance of a screening in Channel 4’s 3 Minute Wonder strand!

We want you to make a film on the theme of drift – drifting objects found on the beach, drifting minds, drifting people, drifting thoughts. See what you can find locally and make a film about it. Use your head and drift towards making an ecological film.

Participants will receive an intensive hands-on practical guide to all aspects of making innovative art documentaries, from thinking of ideas to shooting to editing on a low-to-no budget, so they can make films that engage with the local seaside landscape and ecology using simple practical techniques.
