Inspired by the UK’s only cycle-powered cinema to live a greener film life? Come and see and hear how it’s done from the experts, with a masterclass in making and showing films whilst remaining ecologically sound. This is a unique chance to learn about how to make and exhibit low- or zero-carbon films. The Cycling Cinema will show practically how to make films on issues such as climate change, DIY culture, bike culture, sustainability and the green-revolution in order to encourage local people to produce their own DIY films about issues which are important to their communities. Participants will be tutored in the practicalities of touring a DIY green film show, and will be given the chance to power some of the festival’s films themselves through their own pedal power!
