Margate Rocks 08 Exhibitions Programme

20 of the artists and artist collaborations taking part in the Margate Rocks 08 exhibitions programme were selected through a call to artists. The call was internationally received and we had a great response from artists living and working locally, in the UK, France, Italy and Germany, and as far afield as Hong Kong and Thailand.

All of the exhibitions are taking place for the duration of the festival and are sited in a variety of spaces in Margate. Some are more conventional gallery spaces whilst others include empty shops, shop windows, a doorway in a cliff, a florist’s basement and a grand abandoned building on the seafront.

Visitors are able to find their way around the exhibitions using the (festival map), which can be downloaded (here) or picked up in Margate.
